It's already been planted with plantlets (as stated in the original post). :)

It's filtered by a Whisper 30 and heated by a 100w Visitherm.

A small update:

The plants are...well, I'll just assume that the plants are still establishing themselves in the new tank. There hasn't been much growth to speak of, really. In the month that they've been in there, I've seen a few small leaves sprout on the anubias and the anacharis have grown a little bit. The java ferns seem to be sending out leaves now, though not as many as I had hoped after a month. THe mystery plant (back center of the tank) is not doing great. I've pulled off chunks of browned leaves and stems and am just hoping for the best. I am using Seachem Flourish tabs once a month, and am dosing Flourish Excel every 2-3 days.

As for the fish, the Pearl Gourami seems to be doing great! His anal fin is starting to grow out tendrils and his healthy orange glow on his belly is looking great. The cories are active and healthy. The Rasboras are looking good...those that have survived the introduction to the tank anyways.

There is some brown algae forming, as well as green. I know the brown algae will go away, but I am slightly concerned about the green algae.

Here are some photos. Pardon the quality as they're taken with a cell phone camera:

I like the rock, In KY, there is a lot of rock walls that look a lot like your stacked formation there, so it does look somewhat natural. I think if you pushed it to the background instead it might seem a little more natural.
I really like your tank. I also have a new 20 high tank that I am waiting to start up, and I also love the way rock looks.

Time for an update:

Nearly 5 months later, not too much progress on the plants front. I've decided to upgrade the lighting to a 2x18watt T-5 fixture. It should be coming in the mail tomorrow, so I wanted to document the progress up to this point.

I added a Green Cabomba to the back left to try to fill out the tank a little bit. I have a nice crop of Java Moss that I grew from hitch-hiker strands of moss. The bush is brown, but hopefully with the new lighting system, it will green up nicely. The plan is to have it cover the top of the stone formation and to keep it nicely groomed. The Java Ferns are growing...extreeemely slowly, but they're growing.

The Anubias have all but died. I had a bare rhizome that has grown in a little bit (see bottom left foreground plant), so hopefully I'll split the rhizome soon to start a bunch of small Anubias plants.

Anyways, without further ado, here's the updated pics:

looks pretty good i just setup a standard 20 gallon with some plants, it has 2 23 watt cfl (spiral bulbs) hopefully enough for the plants i have ( i have java fern and moss, as well as some sort of grass, and a couple unknowns)

For faster plant growth, I recommend getting some crypts. I bought 2 from Mgamer and have seen noticable growth in less than a week with eco-complete substrate and ~1.75 watts/gallon.

I love how vivid and green the plants look with a dark substate and background! It looks very nice now, so I can't wait to see what it looks like with more plants! :grinyes:

Very nice. I like it a lot. Can't wait to see it after it's grown out a bit.
