I will be getting in my 48" 4x65W Coralife Freshwater aquarium light on Tuesday. It will be going on the lower 100 gallon show tank shown in the photo below. The problem is I am worried about the clearance for heat distribution. Once the light is on its mounting legs it will be about 8 inches from the top of where the wood is. It will only be 3 inches away from the center brace. I am worried about the heat starting a fire. How hot do PC lights get? Will this be a problem? I don’t want any fires.
