great tank, i love the mandarin they are my favs. how bout posting a link to the baby cardinal thread, just for us curious folk, any way keep up the good work.

:grinyes:yes i did, and it's great to see someone having some success with the bangais, they are beautiful fish, and around here they'r ehard to come by, it is one of the fish i would like to get when my reef is up and running, but i do love those mandarins, which i won't be able to get for some time, but great work an hope to see u having more luck with those babies.

Well it's now been a year since I joined AC and would love to thank everyone who has helped me with my tank(s). I thought I'd post a few photos just to show how much it's changed. Please note that that is the same toadstool coral!!!!

It was labelled as a filamentous dwarf parrotfish, which I've never heard of and nor can I find anywhere. I think it's a flasher wrasse but will know for sure when the lights come back on tomorrow morning!!!

I agree...there is no fish called a fillo dwarf parrotfish...It does seem like a fillo wrasse...Does it have lines down the sides of it??

Tank is looking superb there Ali....Great work..

I thought it might be a fila as well but it's tail isn't forked like filas usually are, which is why I was leaning more to a carpenters. I'll wait til morning and have a better look!!!

To add....Looking at the dorsal finnage, i would say carp wrasse too, on second look
