kensfish.com has the hardness kit for about $5, great price. and lots of food and filter stuff for awesome prices as well.

i was talking to a breeder and he said this

If you get some ivories, you can breed your brown with stripes(wilds) and ivories together and get most colors possible. Then take the desired colrs and breed together to get more. Its hard to explain but if you take same colors your likely to get same colors. But if you breed purples with ivories youll get ivories, pinks, purples, possible some blues. If you havent already been there, Applesnil.net is a great learning site. Donya has made a few tools for depicting colors from what colors you have to start with.

Yup, I have used Donya's calculator before, its a good resourch. Statistically speaking, I should get just under half ivories, all the rest should be striped. We will see what happens.

I had bad experience with that Th3rd_leg on aquabid. I was buying snails, and he kept asking for more money, I believe the final bid was $3 and that was with shipping for spixis. So why shouldn't I win the auction so I did, and the guy kept emailing me for another $5 for a heat pack.

So I jokingly said why a heat pack Imma just feed them to my loaches! Than all hell broke loose, he flamed, insulted my family, etc. About a month or two later, he emails me saying he was sorry and if he can put everything behind us.

I didn't respond to his email, he only wanted his -1 negative to become a 0 on aquabid. I was going to post the email, but haven't read it in a long time, forgot how it was a bit graphic, so I will leave that off :/.

I don't know if it's accurate or not, but at the bottom of that Snail Bucket page, it states that the site was last updated 8/10/2005. I assume that it means August 10th (MM/DD/YYYY, not DD/MM/YYYY as is used in Europe and elsewhere), since they are located in Missouri.

I would try to contact the seller via the email, and see if you can get a response.

I've emailed the seller over the last week or so & no response at all.
