Monster Amazon word

So, I was doing some pruning this morning in my 110 African Planted African tank. Yeah, that's right. Planted African Tank. I was pruning the Amazon in the middle of this tank

And this is one of the leaves in relation to the size of my hand

But then I went upstairs and pulled a leaf from my Amazon Sword up there. Again in relation to my hand and also next to a bottle of wine (Signed by Ron Meeker himself, the Vintner)

They can get much bigger! If you want to keep them at a managable size, prune off the outside leaves. You can gradually prune several a day until you're down to 5-7 leaves.

You can kind "train" them. Trim the tallest leaves, and anytime it starts to grow bigger than you want, trim again. Eventually, it'll give up.

Oh, I've seen them bigger. I once saw one the size of a good size outdoor shrub. This is just the biggest I have ever owned....I'm pretty proud of that monster....
