how do u attach the gravel vac piece to the main tube part?? and what are you using for main tube??

the main tube will be 1/2 inch tube (kinda like air line tub but big) and i will use one of thoes metal clamps and Zip strips, here are some pics

you can get it at a LFS or at like Menards or lows, it cheep like 15cents a foot, i will show you a pic tomaro, it should be easy to make, and if your not on a tight bugit you can make one almost like the python, but i dont like them they waist water

ya you can get it at home depot, and its to transfer the old dirty water into the sink/tub, its the sypon tube

the clear tubing is manufactured for connecting plumbing and things that might need a flexible connection wear copper won't work. I think it is made of vinyl not sure if there is lead in it like power cords.
why not skip the PVC pipe and just connect 30 feet of the clear 1/2 "tubbing to the end of the siphon tubbing or directly to the siphon if it will fit the nipple. Then add a little PVC to "hang" it over the bath tub. Pick up some type of shut off valve that will also thread in to the bathtub faucet either by tuning your PVC "hook" up side down. That way the whole thing is flexible from tub to tank if you need to get around furniture and girl friends. Because you know if she wants to start vacuuming you will get an earful......
