porcupine puffer

Hi all,
There is a porcupine puffer at my LFS who appeared unhealthy several weeks ago but has apparently been nursed back to health now because he is ADORABLE. I can't buy him because my tank is too small but if anyone is anywhere near Boone, NC he is worth the trip. He has huge personality and comes to the glass as soon as you approach. He has big eyes and a wiggly little toosh as he tries to get eye to eye with you in the glass. Someone, please come buy him so I can enjoy by proxy.

It's painful he's so cute. It's like a little dog wagging his tail spastically at you...so spastically that his whole wee little rear end moves back and forth. My husband was like, "Are you sure you can't fit him in the tank...he doesn't look that big." He's too cute to punish him like that.

They get entirely too large for me. I love them, but those cute little fish turn into giant fish.
