Well here are some pics, a few hours after I put the LR in I noticed a few echinoderm friends crawling on the glass. Nice suprise! Plus the Octopus skimmer looks to be an excellent choice. Some discolored skimmate after only 16 or so hours, although it was probably debris floating. I'll keep you up to date on how well the skimmer is doing. The hardest part remains, octoproofing the tank. Theres way to much open space on the lid now, and I have to find a way to make it work. I am looking for some more LR also to fill in better.

Is this going to be Octavius's new home or are you getting another 8 armed friend?

yeah its going to be his new home, less intenese light and more open room than the cube hes in. The cube is going back to strictly reef.
