I put a small jar in the tank, with celery leaves and some squash..... the only thing interested in that jar is the guppys  what can I use to lure the trumpets in there? I have literally thousands in my 10 gallon tank. there covering my sponge filter, my moss, and the gravel is so full  and the walls !!! they bloomed out of my adding guppy and platty from over a few months time and feeding them several times a day. now I got trumpets up the wazooooooo !

Honestly, picking them off the glass works best. I used a net to scrape them off (they fall into the net as you scrape). If you watch for a time when there are a lot crawling up (evening or early morning), you can get a lot at once. If you do this several times on successive days, you should be able to get them back to a manageable population. Keep after it, though, as there are probably zillions of tiny babies in the gravel that will grow up. And don't overfeed!

To get all the ones on the sponge filter and moss, gently lift the filter/moss enough to slip a net under it, then lift it out of the water and swish it in old tank water to get the snails off. If they like to congregate on the sponge/moss, this may be a good collection method.

I am going to do as you say, and I already did the filter and got a ton in the bucket. yep there are tons of babies to in the gravel. I am uploading a pic now as to what is now on my filter again.

Yikes, that is a lot. Just keep after them, and watch how much you feed. Pretty fish, though!

For a second there, I thought to myself, "Aww, so many little fry!" Then I realized, "Holy cow, those are snails..."
