I'd like to keep a school of Pictus catfish with my small green terror in a 75 gallon tank. will this work? Are there any compatibility issues? I have giant danios also, and I want something active for the bottom.

when that green terror gets big he is going to eat your giant danios :(

I have pictus with an oscar, gold sevs, and a P. polleni and they do fine.

yeah, theres 3 in there right now and 3 more in a quarantine tank that will go in this weekend.

I doubt it. There is pretty much zero chance of him catching them.

my j.d. has bitten almost half of one of my zebra danios tail fins off (not down to the flesh, just fin), they can and will catch em, speed doesnt really matter, they can catch em off guard. :nutkick: <----much like these guys

I think they will be fine I have a pictus with two giant danios and there fine it all depends on when each fish gets introduced with another when there small there friends but when u introduce a big fellow with a tiny fish the tiny fish is dinner and also giant danios are upper schooling fish and pictus stay on the bottom.

Giant danios will disappear soon enough when you least expect it. Consider separating them. IMO, regardless of how you think they are fast enough to evade the GT, you are inappropriately stocking the tank.
