I have java fern, it doesn't do great planted in gravel (the rhizome needs to stay out of the gravel but the roots could be buried) but does very well attached to rocks or driftwood. Its very easy and low light though.

Hey Jink,

How are your colored apples coming...

Amy

They are growing quickly! They have about doubled in size in the past week. I seem to have purples, magentas, burgundy, ivory, and gold. Maybe some blues too. I expect them to be ready to ship in 3-4 weeks. I will keep you posted! Thanks :)

Cool, put me down for some purples, magentas, burgandy and blues for sure...

Amy

Do you have a minimum that you will ship on the apples?

No, I will ship you just one if that is what you want. They should be ready in about 3-4 weeks, i am willing them to grow for all you eager people :)

Thanks for the reply... it may only be one as I am hooked on them but only have a 10 gallon for my snail-babies. (I have a gold, blue, and ivory in there now. nothing else since I am waiting for my plants to grow in some but I would like a small school of harlequin rasboras/cories or something in there with them)

Do you have any of the light purple striped?

It does seem that I will have alot of light purple and several dark purple as well as magentas. As the babies are only bb-sized right now, they have not developed definitive striping. I expect to be able to tell in about a week what the exact colors are. I will make a post as soon as I know for sure, with some updated pics of the babies. Thanks again for your interest!
