thanks i got the whole set up for 230.00 i couldn't pass it up! It came with a canister too, but i think I broke it....
Today I am bored and decided that I need to try and add more rocks to this 90...I want to get them built up taller with some more hiding spots because I am going to be putting discus into this tank now and these fish--minus ghost shrimp and ropes are going into a 30 gal for now in the next month or so. This is an unexpected change in my tank, but I can not pass up these discus.
Sorry about the cloudy water, but this is just moments are messing with everything and replanting some plants.
Rope followed the camera when I got close to the tank looking like she was going to lunge at it...

All of these rocks I have found either hiking or were given to me.. Everything in this tank at this point is natural..woohoo 1st goal achieved.
2nd goal get my plants and lights going
3rd goal is get my fish stocked

thank you! now I just need to figure out how to get my water to clear up---i am hoping that it is just a bact. bloom from the new plants but i am changing the water ref and just going to give it some time.
So I have been looking through plants for my tank and am really thinking some parrot feather would be great...

Parrot's feather is often sold for use in ponds, so try pond supply places for large quantities.

Hmmm my mom has two ponds....maybe i wait until the weather warms up and send her wading for me some lol ( i don't get in pond water I just look at it lol):shark:
I had a SA cichlid tank for 4 years--all same fish tons of breeders. I lost everything during an ice storm without power for 4 days. They froze to death. I was devasted and that is why I am rebuilding all my tanks. What kinda of advice or questions do you have. I can try to help.
