I'm looking for some moss balls for my shrimp :-) So, any size will do, I don't really care as long as it's no smaller than a marble.

My zipcode is 95132 CA, if you need to check for shipping price.

I looked on aquabid already and frankly, I hate doing bids and having to do payments when I don't even get to talk to the person I'm buying from. I think it's easier to contact people through these ads and by being able to talk to them first, I feel much safer buying :)

Thanks in advance!

I have some plants for trade too, if you're not interested in money.

I have some Marsilea Hirsuta (Rough Waterclover), java moss, Vals, hornwort, lots of baby java fern plantlets and a "baby" lace java fern (windelov). The lace java fern has about a one inch rizhome.

Hokaido balls went up in price lately =(

I noticed :( I'm hating myself for not getting them at the local fish club.

$17 bucks at my LFS in Nor.Cal
Dang that's high

Are you located in San Jose? I live in Nor Cali too (San Jose). The petstore I go to is located in mountain view and they have marimos there for like, 9 dollars each but they aren't as round as I would like them to be unfortunately :(

If you're in san jose too, which store do you go to/recommend? I'm trying to find a closer pet store, so I don't have to go to mountain view all the time to get quality stuff.

Any suggestions aside from aquabid/ebay, Fish_Fun? I might actually resort to aquabid as a last resort, because if I include shipping+moss ball, it might be cheaper overall.

I see you're in SJ, are you talking about Dolphin Pet village. They also have smaller ones for $9.99 now, I was just there today. Still expensive though.:silly:

Ah, I have heard of that place before through yelp.com.

10 dollars a ball is certainly too pricey for my taste. I think I'll just resort to aquabid. 6 bucks a ball is much better, especially since I'm buying around 5 or more. Even with shipping included, it will probably be cheaper :)

Thanks everyone!
