please note that these plants flower and spread like crazy.

How have you managed to keep them alive indoors? I'd take a few for the backyard pond, but the water lilies have grown large enough to provide enough shade.

what do you mean???Are they hard to keep indoors????all i can say is that i have an open top aquarium an thats seems to be enough for them.

Never tried them in a tank myself, but several people I've talked to had no luck trying to keep some alive indoors over the winter. Probably not enough light.

Oh, cool, ive done something others have failed to do!yay!:D

hmmm....i just rememberd too, that ive had too many in my tank at one point, so i tried to put some outside and they all died...

This may be a stupid question, but here goes: how do I know if they are illegal in my state (GA, FL)? I cannot buy any right now, as my tank has not arrived yet, but would love to purchase some from you (if they are legal here) once I get mine going again. Thanks.

Water hyacinth is a potentially invasive species in any state that doesn't have freezing temps in the winter. The stuff dies from the first frost here in MD, but it's already a major problem in FL.

What a pity. They are so pretty. Thanks:)
