How do you make your footprint lighter?

Nice link cheech. I hope the weather channel takes Al Gore for every dime he's earned from this malarchy he's blowing up our ........... noses....

Maybe NASA is trying to appease the hounding environmentalists by printing this. They probably also buy a lot of carbon credits from Al. Let them I guess. I'm all for space exploration, and if this is what it takes to keep them afloat, so be it.

It's refreshing to see that many of you aren't buying into this nonsense. It's great to live "greener," but don't force it on the rest of us until you have real proof.

And here, courtesy of 125gJoe, is an excellent link to put things into perspective.

Open the pdf he linked (on page 12) , and notice how "scientists" have been fruitlessly predicting our environmental doom for many years. The only difference now is that we have more coverage from pretty and/or popular faces to convince us.

The sun is not expanding, not by a longshot, LOL.

Popular theory states that the sun is expanding, but very slowly. But then, who am I to buy into a popular theory.

if people cut and burn down the forests, where will you get your oxygen?

Phytoplankton

Yes, they have been. However, they predicted it over a long term. Which is getting smaller and smaller. I am glad the earth can outdo our expectations, also, but we should not keep counting on this.
Al Gore's movie was full of bad facts. It was a conspiracy theory movie and made me angry.

This has been a great read.
Great theories.
I believe, we as humans are dead because of greed. We are the parasites of earth. We take anything we can and never give anything back. Unless the world as whole gets together and stops polluting the things we need to keep us alive, we are dead.

You and I know this will never happen.

Most people that do things "green" are not usually wealthy. It really bothers me when prices or taxes go up because we have to keep things green it is usually the people using the resources the most that profit from it. Bush is an oil man. Do you really think he wants the price of oil to come down? Every penny you and I spend on gas makes him and all around him millions and he doesn't even pay for his gas. WE DO.

Just my 2 cents worth.....OOOPS...$99.00 worth.

were just doomed lol. ehh whatever. when i get to thinking about it too much it makes me angry, not just this global climate change stuff, because for some reason i just think its natural even though i really dont like how were just accelerating it. a bunch of things people do. idk how some people can feel alright doing the things theyre doing, the things they support by working for certain companies and such.
i dont lose any sleep over it or anything, just when i get to thinking about it all it kind of sucks.
theres a lot of crappy things going on in the world

it seems like the people with lots of money don't believe in climate change, and the main middle people or below feel passionatley about it. sorry if this sounds stereotypical but it's just what i've noticed.
