ICECAP 660 VHO BALLAST 45.00 SHIPPED

i got this with a tank and am not going to use vho it is missing the harness but they can be bought on ebay. the guy said it works but i have no way of testing it. thanks

Is 660 the wattage? What type bulb does it run; Floresant, metal halide...?

there are some bulb limitaions with the VHO ice caps.
the selection is limited and the bulbs available work best in a Marine tank(use sealed end caps.)
with a good selection of actinics.
there is a 10k bulb available most of the useable bulbs for FW are the triphosphors.
the 660 will power up to 4 110w bulbs...
