I haven't been on in awhile so I just wanted to say Hello to everyone. I just added some new things to my tank for the first time in a couple of months so I figured I would give an update. I added a True Clown and a Coral Banded shrimp today. I have to say everything has been going great with the tank. All the levels have been at 0 for a few months now and I haven't even had much elgea. I have had some of that red slime like stuff but nothing real bad. All the fish are getting fat and growing faster then I thought. I still don't have a good light yet and still only have about half the rock that the tank calls for but other than that everying seems to be doing very well. I did lose one of the Sexy Shrimp. I think something most have eaten it but don't know who or what. I never even found parts of it. I don't think it could be hiding for this long. it's been gone for about 3 or 4 weeks now.

I wish I could post some pictures but I no longer have a camra that works on my computer so sorry. I know how everyone likes pictures but I can't right now.

Well that's it for now.

good to hear from you again. I mentioned in your thread about starting up a 30 gal..i did. already moved it to a 55. I moved everything over this weekend and going to build the sump next weekend hopefully. WOOHOO. Everything seems to be doing well.

Sorry about the sexy. I have had a few mystery disappearances as well....hmmmm

Can't wait to see more pics when you get some more rock added and to see how everything is growing in!

Welcome back!

hmmm. A fellow CT-ian.
And to top if off, I'm pretty certain I sold you the clown and coral banded shrimp today, unless someone in the Hartford area happened to buy the same two things on the same day at a different store.
Did you get them at Puppy Center, perhaps? :D
How are they doing? Are they taking to the acclimation well?

Yes that was me! Were you the one that got them out of the tank or the one I payed? They seem to be doing fine. This morning the clown was swimming a bit strange, all on it's side but seems to be fine now. He or she hasn't left the right side of the tank yet. I think he is use to the little cubes you guys keep them in. The shrimp came out last night when the lights went out and did he thing so I think he is fine.

I have to say I really wanted to get some more live rock yesterday but $8.00 a lb is a bit steap. That is what i went there for in the first place. Oh well I'll have to get my rock some where else. I have to say the fish and the coral they have are pretty nice. I also need to get some more Cerith snails I only have 2 in a 75 and althought they do a good job they cant keep up. I need like 10 or so more. I have 7 blue legs and when I got them they were small but they are huge now. I can't beleave how fast they have grown.

Well anyway I have talked enough. Thanks for the post. Maybe you can let me know when you get some more Ceriths in.

Thanks Sean,

Sorry about that. Me and Ashlee broke up and she is the one that took the pictures so she should really get the prize. I told her about it but did know if she had done anything about it. I will pass on what ever you would like me to. Again sorry about that but these things happen.

Sean,

I was the one that bagged them for you.
Where are you finding live rock for that much cheaper? Granted, I havnt bought live rock in quite some time. haha. ALso, we started carrying the super tongan nassarius more than ceriths because they are larger and we've just had better luck with them.
But good luck finding some live rock and if you stop in again, say hello and introduce yourself again.
