New alternative to paypal

My friend and I are doing research on this site. There seems to be many Betta issues on this in early Febuary or late January. It seems to be fixed now and it is legit but has anyone had any troubles with this program? Has anyone actually used it to complete a transaction or did everyone just take the $25 and run?

I'm going to try it out, I have been very unhappy with PayPal lately. And once I sell things on E-Place and pay their fees and then PPs fees, then pay shipping I'm just not making anything off my sales. The original point of it all was to get rid of unwanted items and make a little bank, but it has become nothing more than a pit.

I agree, and when you incorporate the listing fees, PayPal fees, Shipping materials, tracking number, and shipping into the actual shipping cost shipping a small item is 10-15 and shipping a good sized items is 15-20. When you enter that amount buyers get angry with you and Ebay somtimes takes it off saying your shipping gouging.

I sold a brand new Aqueon 200 filter for only 5.50 and 10 bucks shipping. I also had to ship a book through half.com. All said and done the two things cost $20 for materials and shipping costs. Half.com only gives you around $4 so I basically gave the filter away for free! Grrr. I shoulda offered it to someone here if I would have known that would have happened = /

So does the free $25 still happen if you sign up today? I saw in a post by Mgamer that you can sign up and get $25 free, even though I read that if you don't do it by May 14th, you don't get any money.

That does not answer the question of "why"....Paypal does not ask you for your SSN, so, why do these need too??

Its like a site asking UK members to provide their National Insurance number...you just dont give out this info on a web site....

because an SSN, short of a certified birth certificate, is a surefire way to verify USA citizenship.

paypal doesn't need this, because they don't require you to be a citizen of any one country.. theyre worldwide.
