The new album 'Watershed' will be available 6/3/08. I've already pre-ordered mine. :) Though, I'm sure plenty of copies are probably already floating around for download..lol.

I'll be up in D.C this coming weekend and 'Opeth' is playing there Monday night (5/26)...I may just have to go. :D
I've already been to 3 of their shows and hung out on the tour bus with them a few years back. Very cool guys and one of my all time fav bands. Seeing 'Dream Theater' as well, would be the icing on the cake!

Ever tried Rancid? My fave album was "And out come the wolves". Sorta like Punk/Ska. Upbeat yet not hardcore. My favorite tracks were : ruby soho, the 11th hour, olympia wa, roots radicals, time bomb, listed m.i.a.

I also enjoy listening to Buck o' Nine's "My Town" and some classic Mighty Mighty Bosstones :)
 
Daft Punk, David Bowie, The Bangkok five, Cake, Chemical Brothers off the top of my head. We are Scientists are good and the Editors are very good, popular last year in Europe. Don't know about this year.
I've heard The Roots and Deltron 3030 are great.
I also like classical, lol, but don't know if you're looking for that. I'm basically a fan of a lot of the giants.
