The new 55 and new Angels

Here is the new tank in it's beginning stages. The plants are some Cork Screw Grass, Ozelot Swords are the larger ones and then I have some sort of baby swords. Does anyone know about these long stem leafy plants? I bought these from a chain store and am worried that they aren't aquatic. I'm planning on buying a nice piece of driftwood roots on ebay to replace the plastic decor. Comments and opinions welcome!

The drift wood is a great idea.
I would also consider adding a backing to the tank, imo tanks look a lot nicer with some sort of backing on them.

To get a nice pic is easiest with a nice camera that I don't have, lol. But, make the room as dark as possible and only have the tank light on. Turn the flash off the camera and go at it! No glare and you get natural colors of the fish.

I'm not sure about a backing yet, I don't know what I want or really know what looks good. Any ideas?

Do you just paint that on? If so with what paint and tools?

I never dig the blue back drops.

If anything I could order a sheet of paper or make a canvas and paint myself a background with oil paints. That would be cool.
