Mafia #33 - Bruce Campbell Vs. Army of Darkness

HN,

The lynch does not stop a turn (which has a 25% chance of being a hit). The fact that the town's abilty to lynch was stopped hurts the town. No one discussed lynching no one. We, as a town, have the right to vote no one, but everyone thought it was in the town's best interest to lynch someone. While the odds are against us (which they always will be), everyone voted to lynch someone. If RB thought that we should not vote for someone, then why no discuss it, instead he put the town in a situation where none of our votes counted.

Somehow you are okay with this. Is RB hinting to be a power role? Is that his reason? I don't see it. I think he is EAII and his game play day one versus day two is very clear. Now day three he gives this long post. When does rb post long posts? His explaination is stranger than his actions. I quoted a strange part from the end of his speech, maybe it was missed.

Who if not RB is a good suspect?

My list (in order I want to see them lynched):
RB
HN
LG

Where did I say that a tie stopped the turn?

No, I am nowhere close to "okay" with what he did. It pissed me off and I wouldn't be too concerned to see him go for it even if innocent. I don't think he's the EA because to do what he did if he was EA would be stupid. He's alot of things (insert your own adjectives), but I don't believe stupid is one of them.

If I was EA, I would try my best to make a few allies, by agreeing with a handful of people and blending in. I would not clash with anyone, because I would want to have as many "friends" as possible. I would follow as much as possible. I would remind folks about my skimming and that I always look evil and like being evil. I would also be very helpful to the noobs.

You make a very good case for yourself.

This post really concerns me.

1) Defending RB again. Plant, it's not like we have anything to go on here. The only thing we're doing by not lynching someone is letting the evils have a larger group to hide in. Plus, they have a larger field of potential targets and the good/guy team has a harder time figuring anything out (because no information from each night can be trusted, since anyone can be turned).

2) Rb can think anything he wants (he obviously does), but starting the turn of events that he did (and G and hooked continued) caused a whole lot of crap that we have to wade through that doesn't get us anywhere.

If he had said, I think we need to not lynch someone and tied the vote and we all agreed, that would be one thing. But the last minute switch, with no explanation, which started a long confused sequence... that's anti-town.

3) So pix can't vote for who he thinks is evil? That's anti-town? I happen to think that LadyG is more than a little suspicious as well and with something useful from RB, might consider changing my vote to her.

4) Someone, for Pete's sake, tell me what is up with all the Jensons stuff.

I totally agree with the anti-town part.

Only speaking for my Jensons "stuff"... To me she fit the "profile" of who I think Z would have picked to replace Catfish. She's a low poster, always makes it deep into the game, and is always hard to lynch (I know I've tried when evil to get her lynched). Also as I stated before, there's something in her posting that reminds me of when she was the lone mass murderer. The thing that locked it in for me was the pop in vote for Chill to put him 2 votes above her. That and the fact that she hasn't since posted makes me believe I'm on the right track. I also like bkw for the turn. Nothing solid here yet, but I think his vote on me with no real supporting info may have been a first attempt at trying to defend his new master.

But the stuff, I won't pass on would harm the town. And I said what it is, but it's not like I had a plan to get it. It's just my ideas.

What did you discover at least?

I discovered what you won't pass on.

The lone evil would try their best to force a lynch and not like a tie unless they were the leading vote getter. This is a scorched earth format. The evils need to get all the innocents dead or turned before they win. Their goal would be to try to lynch an innocent every night as well as turn/kill one. There was only 1 evil when RB pulled his stunt. So it's not like he was trying to save a fellow evil. If someone tries again to force a tie now that there are more than one then I would worry a bit more.

I think the way nightfall enfolded RB may have thought LG and/or Hooked and/or Chill were a power role. I think that's why when LG questioned him about his initial observation, he thought she could be evil again because a PR would not put more light on themselves by questioning it. That's just the impression I got. Maybe RB will enlighten us?

I see what you are saying, Plant but I just don't like the erratic play as of late from RB. His game has definitely changed recently. Not quite sure if that is because he's evil but he's staying more quiet today and that bothers me too. He does not appear to be helping the town right now with his antics. I can see some possible underlying motives for that but can't totally figure it out just yet.

This is what I have, too. Nice job Dawg. You're doing quite well. It was far from my first game before I ever started posting the vote count. But that makes me worried about you somehow, LOL.

I had to take it upon myself after the shenanigans of last night. I don't want to have to trust others vote counts any more unless it is posted by Z...and when I asked for a vote count last night Z was not there.

4) Someone, for Pete's sake, tell me what is up with all the Jensons stuff.

I haven't caught on to this one yet either...but I'll keep my eyes open.

Unfortunately I may not be around for nightfall as I am going out of state until Sunday night. I will try to get online if I can but don't count on anything. I have my vote on RB right now and will be leaving it there unless I see more substance from him today. I'll be around for another couple of hours so hopefully if RB is innocent something will emerge soon.

The other thing I will say about RB is when he was innocent on the first night and was being accused of being EA he was much more vocal about it than he is today. Trust me, I was the brunt of his comments that night. Go back and see for yourself. RB you are scaring me today!!

Your welcome dawg! I have been busy today finishing my 80 posts...need to update my vote spreadsheet then I can be posting here.

By the way...should I lay a vote out there now so you folks have something to talk about.

Wait that is a foolish question...

I vote to lynch Cap...

be back soon...

As soon as there are more mafia (deadites) then the game is over. While there is a book that allows one player to be turned, after that is used (if it even gets used) then if the mafia outnumber the innocents - the game is over. We can play it until the end, but as long as there are more mafia, the mafia control the game.

RB forcing a tie was anti-town. There is no denying this. RB forcing a tie with 30 minutes left is even worse (if that is even possible).

To add to that. If G turns out innocent, RB must be Ash. That switch makes no sense...

HN, Here is what you said before nightfall, but still you are focused on Jensons. That has me concerned. I really can't see a better reason to vote for anyone besides RB at this time.

While I agree Jensons would be a good chioce for EA or even a turn. This RB stuff should be handled first.

And what do you call Lady enforcing a 3 way tie vice letting me be lynched..just curious?

It is interesting how things change. The first night I was suspicious of you because of your incessant barking. Now after learning more about your game, I'm much more nervous that you are not barking. <---It may be to late to change that since I have brought it to your attention.

I can see many of your moves as being dumb if you are EA and I know you're not. However I can also see you going that route to throw us off your trail. :wall: Ouch that wall hurts.

Definitely an interesting vote but perhaps maybe just a safe one. What happened to your thoughts on JM?
