Pics of your favorite Tanganyikan

The contrast between the black and white in the tank is really my favorite part of the Calvus, but i haven't been able to get a good shot of the Black Calvus yet, she's a bit camera shy.

hows about this feller (not my fish)...imagine pale rock work, some green stuff, pale substrate, black background, 15 or more of these guys...

Where are the pics of your Tangs, Coler? I'd love to have a tank of Tropheus someday, have to be a large tank dedicated to just them, don't know if I could swing that with my lady. She prefers communities ( unless it's a Discus tank of course ).

Here's one I just found.

My little female leilupi and my Neolamprologus Tretocephalus. I really like the tret, and the leilupi does me the courtesy of spawning pretty regularly (I wish I knew with what)

Love that calvus btw Afro - beautifully kept fish.

Sweet Leilupi. I don't come across many of those in my area. Trets are a fav of mine, they're like the Mbuna of Tanganyika personality-wise. Cool with most other fish, but man do they hate anything blue with black bars! Have you tried rearing any of the Leilupi's spawn? I wouldn't think they would be able to cross with Malawis, or would they? Substrate spawners or mouth-brooders?

one made it to finger nail size plus but I didn't act quickly enough to get him out of the tank and I presume he got an tour of the inside of something else...Otherwise, when I do a rescape I will see two or three tiny wigglers every now and then but have never gotten my hands on them.

I love that tret - one of my favourite fish.
