That settles it! I'll be getting this cube! Within 2 weeks or later!

Is this a good stock?

15 Celestial pearl danios
10 Fire ember tetras
4 Otos
3 Panda Cories

= 32 fish

Ya think? Or thats just too much for a 14 gallon oceanic bio cube to handle? Note: I'm not planning to breed cpd's here(maybe a couple of frys will survive). I'll be breeding them elsewhere when i get the right sexes. So overall this is what I think. Anything else can I add? Or nope

drop at least the otos. I don't have experience with cpds/ember tetras(except for juvies at my petstore), so if you're going to try this and nobody else replies be ready to potentially buy another tank, be doing large water changes, have heavy filtration, and have the tank heavily planted. Remember that cubes have less surface area=less stocking.

In fact if you're breeding(fry love that excellent water quality!) the fry will have less room to survive and less space to grow up in, so I would def. look into another tank.

I'm not intending to breed... If I do plan to breed, I will place the right cpd sexes to a 10 gallon and let them breed;I'll be more serious about caring for the frys at that point. Yep I'm talking python WC's! I'll be taking a slow process. It aint goin to be like baby boomers. Don't worry schizo, I know what I'm dealing with. The tank will be densely planted and I'll be controlling feeding times. Besides, if they do spawn in the nano cube, it's not like the egg's or frys will survive when there is so many adult cpd's and ember tetras schooling around(Although I there can be 2 or 3 survivors). So you get the point. This tank is for the mere relaxation and tranquil.

Perhaps a better stock. :grinyes:

12 Celestial Pearl Danios
6 Ember tetras
3 Panda cories or other small cory species

Thank you, Schizo. You are a good pal :)

Your last plan sounds best to me.
