Could anyone tell me where to find this? Please :help: me

Thanks!

If you are looking for the Bio-wheel only then you are out of luck. Marineland stop making it by itself. I talked to the company at the end of last year. You need to buy the Magnum 350 Deluxe or find one on e-bay.

Petsmart has the wheel only. Our petsmart here has a huge bin with them in it...

I was assuming he meant the whole bio-wheel hook-up. If you need just the replacement (wheel), I've seen those as well. They are about 8-10 bucks. If you're looking for the wheel and assembly, it's no longer avail. by itself. That's from the tech. people at Marineland. The guy I spoke to said it would be hard to find by itself becasue it had been discontinued for a couple of years.
To be honest, I just unhooked 1 bio-wheel 30 because I started a HOB refugium. In a couple of weeks, the results have been good. Nitrates are finally in single digits. Next I'm going to eliminate the bio-wheels on my Penguin 330. The bio-wheels cause nitrates. My tank is pristine with constant water changes, carbon, phos.remover and nitrate sponge and I still had nitrates around 30 ppm. Removing the 1 large bio-wheel has helped, and next will be the smaller 2.
IMO, you should look into something different and run the Magnum without the bio-wheel.

thanks everyone for your input I found a new Marineland Magnum 350 Pro system with the bio wheels and just replaced the whole system, and am keeping the old canister just in case. I found on Marinelands website that we can buy the replacement parts for the bio wheels so I'm going to buy some spare parts just in case. Our old set lasted almost 22 years and the fittings just finally gave out, if we wouldn't have temp fixed them we could have just repalced that part.

I have spoken to many people at different lfs here and with the setup and the canister that we had we couldn't have run the canister on it's own the way that the hoses are and the way our system is set up, it was cheaper to buy a whole new system for the $110 than it would have been to run a newer system.

Thanks again for your help! :headbang2:
