it has been a long time sense i last stopped by aquaria central and i am pretty shocked at the massive changes. where did the species profiles and stuff go?

last i heard, they are going under some pretty heavy revisions.

it can take a while to go through the hundreds of species profiles.

right now though, some members are writing articles on specific species to help

yes, with lots of good info and pics. i don't know when it went away. i haven't visited this site in over a year. the profile part was very well organized and easy to use. that is the whole reason i used to frequent this site. i guess when monster took over they decided to start over and change everything for some stupid reason.

The profiles were also outdated hence we took them out. The Article Corner at the moment is being used for species profiles. The massive changes were not done for any "stupid reason" but for the convenience of everyone.

Yep, I remember the species profiles. Although, as already been stated...many were outdated. There have been many changes, and they have all improved the site. I was here when it was good, went bad and was going down hill fast, Monster network has saved the site and improved it greatly. I for one am very grateful for what they have done, and can't wait to see what more they have in store for the site. I'm sure the species profile will be back up before long and as others have said, there are members making profiles and the article corner is being used for now.

I hope you continue to come back, so you can enjoy all that has been done to improve the site.

I agree wirh Lady. Nothing but solid, good improvements and a growing base of friendly active members. The profiles have been gone for more than a year. All in due time.

I think everyone agree's that AC has moved forward in leaps and bounds over the last few years, and every change that has been done, has been done in the best interests of AC as a forum, and us members..

As with any forum, its always in development...new idea's in the pipelines, new features to use, new SPECIES PROFILES, et cetera et cetera...

We can only go up and forwards with AC....
