saltwater mix whats the best out there

I'm using Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. I don't have any experience with others though. It dissolves fast and it's supposed to contain all the trace elements that a reef needs (calcium, iodine, strontium, etc). So every water change is reloading some nutrients.

We'll see when my tank finishes cycling.

I typically use Reef Crystals, but I'll switch depending upon the condition of the batches. Sometimes one brand has too high of a mixed alkalinity, etc. and I'll temporarily switch. Usually it is only between Instant Ocean and Reef Crystals.

i was using ocean water from a lfs and my calcium was staying normal then i switched to made up water from another lfs and they use instant ocean mix and i noticed my calcium level going down next time i get water from them im gonna test it for calcium level

Normal IO is pretty low in Ca.
I've used a lot of different ones just to try it. RIght now I'm using seachem reef salt. It's not bad.
I think I've had the best results with reef crystals though. I'm going back to that next. I;ve shyed away from it after getting a batch that after doing a 10% water change brought my phosphates from 0 to .3.... But overal, I think i've liked it the best.

I have always used Tropic Marin Pro and really like it. Dissolves well, maintains the right amount of trace elements and my parameters have been stable since using. Around here it is sometimes hard to find locally. The bucket to make 200 gallons of salt water is about $65.00.
