Did I ruin my ph electrode ?

I let it dry out for 2 weeks, is it ruined ?

I believe you are suppose to keep them wet in storage , just not sure if 2 weeks is long enough to mess it up .
 
what is it, you just put it in the tank and it shows the pH - like a digital thermometer?

I'd imagine the best way to find out would be to test the water with a test kit (yours or at the LFS) and then see if the results match with what the other thing says.

Impressive: you gave the right answer without being sure what the thing is.


Do what said. You may have to recalibrate, but that's about it.
 
When I first got my digital pH tester, its instructions said to 'condition' the electrode
by letting it soak in the storage solution for at least 12 hours and then calibrate it.

This is probably what you will need to do to have it back in working order.
