Mafia 37 (35?) 50/50

Sorry I've been gone - getting back from the weekend was a total @#$! Work totally slammed me.

All I can say is town, I am very disappointed. Based on what I've read to try and catch up, the town is pretty much being rolled here, and the non-communicating citizens are rolling with it. Now would be a good time for a strategic look at who LG was suspicious of, who she wasn't suspicious of, etc.

We need to have a serious looksee at who was substantial in bringing down one of our best townies. Honestly though, this makes it really unworthwhile to invest in a whole lot of play, because it still seems like whoever talks the most gets the most votes.

Oh and let's talk about NJ and distancing. I've never once had one person in my court, ok? People don't ally with me. I completely don't blame them. I'm rather an oddity and too much of a liability. The idea that Ogre was protecting me is completely impossible. Likely, he's a smart player, he knew that jumping on you guys for putting meaningless votes on ME for no reason other than again, I post unpredictably (Sausage, I mean really?) Any way that, that would be a great way to turn votes around on you guys.

So let's NOT lynch anymore Swats or Blackberry Townies, eh?

Again, a good look at those hating on LG... btw, just because her and I got into it last time doesn't mean we're not civil people that enjoy chatting up on the Interwebz. Maybe we just know eachother better now, and we're taking it in stride. Did I ever think she was guilty this time around? Not a whole heck of a lot. Did she think I was guilty? Apparently not. I'm probably the reason she got whacked too, because she stuck to her guns of not wanting to see the town lynch an innocent, with that that mafia-induced (I'm sure of it!) "Ogre - distancing" move.

And yeah, my playing style is different - I never said it wouldn't be. I said I would have less time. (Although I normally do try and make more appearances then this.) Life is busy, and for that I do apologize a bit. We have a whole houseful of furniture we've been having to put together. I'll see if I can't be around a bit more tomorrow.

Now, I'm going to throw out a vote based on my above comments (who was the most suspicious of LG) and who's continuing to spread this untruth about Ogre somehow jumping on all of YOUR improper votes, as if somehow that had ANYthing to do with me. I find it convenient that now that their comrade has been lost, Ogre, they're trying to capitalize on it and bring me down, when I had nothing to do with him. I'm reading this text on my tv, but I feel fairly sure that Dawg (who had an inkling that LG might have been a communicating innocent, but voted for her anyway), is one of my key suspects, along with HN also and Scoop.

I vote to lynch Dirty Dawg.

See all you gamers around.

Sorry it wasn't Dawg, it was scoop, I can't see at all on this tv screen. lol . So I retract my vote to lynch Dawg.

I vote to lynch Scoop.]/b]

*Sigh* darn it I can't see. lol

I vote to lynch Scoop.

Great night, all the way down to the UD! :headbang2:I am soooo sorry that I missed night and vote. I had an emergency that had to be taken care of.

With the UD of JC, we should be at 3 only 3 mafia and 5 townies, right?

The teams, as I see them:

Townies:
Chill - no bad vibe
NJ - too sincere - well thought out posts
Z - would be posting more if mafia, just because he really hates to lose
Dawg - i don't think he's defensive enough to be mafia
Fire

Mafia:
Scoop - you're just not sitting right
JM - laying low, trying to stay off the radar
RB - vote w/no reason, low posting, incongruous with usual play

I vote to lynch rbishop.

On a different note, would it be a horrid idea for the communicating innocents to come out? We outnumber the mafia, so maybe we could narrow it down? They also may have info for us? idk, just a thought.

WOW I'm sorry Lady G but I deffinatly did not like how your posting style had changed in my mind. I guess I don't even need to read the rest of the posts after night fall I know I'm the next to go all I will say is go get them town.

Oh and while your at it why not look real hard at who Hooked was looking at... He wasn't hit for looking good!

Well I would say the comm innocents should only show themselves if they are in danger of being lynched. If the comm innocents know a mafia due to last nights investigation they could sit back and wait for their hit at the next nightfall.

Hoorah! j_chicago thanks for taking yourself out so we didn't have too :P

HN has started packing heat so I don't come after him every game, hehehe. Kinda glad to see the Suicide Bomber gone because it was such a wild card and bonus points for taking out a Mafia.

With j_c gone I return to my original vote as I think Scoop is "off". Wish I had more for a Night 3 vote but it is what I have got. Otherwise I would put Chill and NJ pretty high on the list. I can't really say I feel anyone is Innocent I haven't been around enough and neither have the rest of the Town. I will try to be more involved from here out.

I vote to lynch Scoop

Ok. How does this play out? Who on earth would believe them... it would be a case of them 'trying to save their mafia hide' or something.

Your fate's not sealed yet, Scoop. In fact I wouldn't be honest if I didn't say your heartfelt repentance in being wrong is pulling a bit at my heartstrings, where as SOME people are barely apologetic for leading a crusade that cost the town.

Btw, a lot of times mafia hits are more of a confusion factor. Who of us here hasn't played a mafia role before? Most of us have probably in some game, some time in history. So if one was mafia, would you hit someone in the thrust of the conversation? Probably one of the people grilling the potential innocent is a mafia brother. Your hit on the innocent could very well throw that brother under the bus. So obvious then, could there be any thought behind it? Usually they go for a hit that will throw people off, or try to make them think there's something there that isn't. No one EVER hits an innocent who's actually making the point or getting too close, because it will only make their case of martyrdom stronger, and the townie's will come down even harder on his opponent. I think that's too obvious a place to look. Now... is it possible it's SO obvious, they don't think anyone would actually take this strategy seriously, thereby deliberately going for it, because it's so obvious, who would actually think that was the case? I suppose! But it's hard to believe they would. Right now I'm thinking the mafia hit is another 'who can we go for that will distract them and give them some tangent to follow away from the potential real deal?'

Well NJ I feel thought that my fate is sealed because the last 2 nights the town couldnt come to a concenus on one person and the dead ended with but 2 votes. I currently hold 3 and on top of it I believe I deserve to go for being one of the votes that sealed the deal for a fellow townie. But, all I can say is that I hope when I'm lynched that it gives the Comm Innocents the answers to who is left for mafia. If my death gives them that then I have fullfiled my job.
