spelling errors double plus ungood.

The thing that gets me is people using quotations randomly in sentences. Just trying to read the paragraph is an exercise in futility...

My fish jumped "out of the tank and fell" on the floor so "now I have to get a glass top" to keep them in the tank.

I just don't get it.

That is the sort of tortured language language up with which I will not put.

George Orwell newspeak is absolutely terrifying, both in concept and practice. Spelling and grammar errors pale in comparison. Leet or L33t speak is nearly as bad of course, but newspeak shows signs of education gone bad! Heh

i blame my errors on my kids, they have sucked the brains right out of me....

We all get annoyed, no worries. I despise that "z" in place of "s" jazz as well.

Seems I view them as somehow different than the normal grammatical imperfections of the English speaking world. It's like every time I see them, I find it oddly annoying. :wall:

tell me why!

*Ahem* I believe you mean "different from", "English-speaking", and "them". ;)

i don't care about how people spell as long as i can understand what they're saying!

Hmmm...unless 'it' is taken in context to refer to the sensation experienced or the encounter with the error in the singular, as opposed to the errors referred to together in the plural.

I am not convinced of the rectitude of your final comma.

That is all.

:D
