how to make a pond a saltwater pond

i am building a pond and i want to put saltwater minnows in to raise for bait. please help :help:

Well, they weren't minnows if you caught them in the ocean. Probably herring, sardines, or anchovies.

I wouldn't bother honestly. In theory, it could probably be done, but in practice it would be a nightmare. You are much better off buying a 55g and setting it up as a breeder tank for sardines.

Yes. I agree I think in theory it might work but it would be way to much trouble trying to keep salinity levels steady. Plus depending on the pond or wether you have access to the ocean how much salt you have to purchase.
