I was sent a bad pkg from someone(no names mentioned) but it was a clumped together batch of a few different plants, how do I put pieces of plant in my tank. the bottom is filled with sm-med. gravel. I have it floating in my snail tank now, should I just keep it there? I have about 1 or 2 good pieces the rest i had to toss out due to how bad they were. ugh.. what should I do?

I was only able to save a bunch of water sprite

You can just float it for a bit. Keep it out of any direct current and pick out any rotting plant matter.

I hope the RAOK you got from me shows up in good shape.:)
I wrapped each species so that only a couple stems were touching each other. Try not to feel too bad or mad. It happens from time to time.

I am alittle sad because of how much it cost but it's just floating in my snail tank, they love it, which is nice! I think your RAOK will be just fine! I am new at all of this aquarium stuff so I am learning as I go!(not to mention all the help I get here, I would be lost without all of you!) I'll be calling on you when I get your pkg for some help! :):)

Did you let the seller know the condition of the plants when they arrived? more often than not, the seller is concerned with your happiness and would probably either refund or replace damaged plants. Good luck with what you salvaged!

The stuff I sent you is pretty straight forward. They have already been treated prior to shipping. When they show up just put them in a bowl of 78 degree dechlorinated water for awhile. When you are ready to add to aquarium, Just stick 'em in the substrate in groups of 2-3 stems. The single stem of H. Bold needs direct light until it gets established. The Oak Leaf watersprite is a rossete, so give them some good spacing too. The smaller ones can just float around the tank. I won't be available to answer direct questions. If you have any just post here, someone else can chime in.:)
