what shrimps can cross with rcs?

www.petshrimp.com read their species listings. it tells you what types will interbreed

there are neons that are neocaridina, the dark greens are typically caridina...at least the ones I have seen and keep

Yes I have Dark Green as well I am not sure what they are calling the green Neocaridina, but I have indeed seen it for sale. There is still much debate about Green Shrimp as I am sure you are aware of.

Here are a couple very helpful species descriptions on Green, Neon Green, and Dark Green Shrimp. The Green Neocaridina are so far as I have seen been called Neocaridina sp. "green"

oh those dangerous and persnickety common names! Just another good reason to know more than a color description of the shrimp you keep.

You got that right and I think it doesn't help much when importers just grab a name out of a hat either. To bad science isn't more interested in these little creatures and spending a little more time with identification....

I would even wager a guess that perhaps some of these generic labeled shrimp are new species as well as some folks are having trouble finding a species description fitting their "Green Shrimp"

You say you have some of the Neocaridina Sp that are green? Is there a chance you could show a photo and do they indeed breed true?

Thanks Bill
