New Tank - 150 Gallons - Fish Suggestions

I'm prepared for this one to get shot down, so here it goes.

What are the odds I could put in a few yellow labs? I know, all I need to do is throw in an African cichlid and all hell will break loose, but what are the odds that this could work out.

I'm really questioning if I'll keep my three angel fish. I'm thinking about switching to an all cichlid tank, preferably Mbuna or African.

Tell me what you think.

Thanks,
Tim

African cichlids need different water conditions than clown loaches. Think hard which you want. Have you looked at some of the medium-large sized barbs as loachy companions? Some have really nice color, melon barbs are on my short list for future clown tankmates.

I wouldn't do the mix...I would say pretty low odds as well.

And mbuna are african by the way ;)

true clown loaches, angels plecs do fine together, chillids tend to be more agressive fish than the others you mentioned& they love to nip at fish with long fins such as angelfish.sharks tend be verry carnivoruos&readily go after slow moving fish such as angels+it is also generaly a good idea to avoid placing fish that have mouths biger in syze compared to their tank mates size.
