Gauging interest in treated bettas

Hey I love your idea! A couple people and I have started a website supporting this sort of activity. Check it out:

http://www.bettarevolution.weebly.com/

We want to "unite" all the individuals who rehabilitate bettas...so those looking to "Adopt" them only need to visit 1 website!

If they are plain veiltails, I'd only take them locally only. I find it's only worthwhile to ship fish one can't buy locally.

It seems this is going pretty well. so it seems you only speak for yourself and not the masses.

Love the idea.

I don't think this thread has ANYTHING to do with availability of fish locally, but more the interest of people doing something altruistic, finding homes for bettas that were ill and given a chance.

I would be interested in a male, or a harem of females if you ever treat them.

This is a brilliant idea! :)

I'd be interested in one or two...

i'd love a few as well :)
it's an extraordinary thing youre doing, quite selfless & kind ^^.

Thanks, guys!
I'm afraid we almost never get female bettas in, but one can hope.
This may be a while yet, like I said. But once I have something, I till let you all know!

There is a lady that frequently posts on Craigslist that she runs a Goldfish and Betta rescue. She claims she will ship and doesn't charge a rehome fee or shipping or anything. If you would be interested in contacting her, I will get you the link next time I see it. Maybe the two of you can come up with some ideas on how to better help these homeless fish.
