Great feedback - thanks! It seems as though if you want a plant or two it's the board; if you are looking for several different it may be better to buy from a supplier. I may use the board to fill in a hole or two!

well it depends on what you're looking for. if you're looking for really obscure things, then yea you might need to go to an online supplier. otherwise, I'd suggest using the Looking For section of the forum - you'll probably find most of what you need there
well i used to only buy from people on the boards but i now import to keep up with demand and new plants.

I buy from Mgamer, other forum members, and ebay. I buy a few plants from the LFS because they have rare plants like dwarf hairgrass for 5 dollars.
i am starting a new 55g and went with an aquabid.com package deal to start out, it should be shipped out today. there are great deals and freebies on APC but they go fast.
i've bought plants from local stores some good some bad and several online dealers, but i think dealing with the people here on the forums gives you a better selection and quality.. these plants are coming out of someones tank that know what they are doing not just trying to sell something
