even vs odd numbered schools?

My schools are 6 or more. Don't matter odd or even unless your m/f ratios are important.

Once you go over 5 individuals, it doesn't really matter to me.
10-12 fish make a nice school.

I thought even looked more natural...

I don't know. A difference of 1 shouldn't make that big of a difference... it's probably all down to personal preference.

A school is a school to me....20,50 100 its all the same

I challenge anyone to accurately count a school of fish over 10... I have 20 Rummies in a tank and know that only because I haven't seen bodies. Counting them? No way! lol

I use my toes to count over 10. Try it, it really does work.

For the fish even or odd numbers make no difference as long as there are sufficient quantities to meet their schooling instincts.

For humans, it all depends on the culture your were raised in. In some cultures odd is more desirable. In others it has to be even or it is ugly. Kind of funny in my opinion.

i don't think it really matters and even if u are using a ratio of 1m:2f you can still have odd or even number schools. ex. 10 males 20 females is a school of 30 (even) 11 males 22 females is a school of 33 (odd)
