I fan my mosses before and after water changes.
Tie it to a vertical piece of driftwood. The fronds will fan out and are absolutely beautiful.
Seems to stay cleaner this way.

That's a good idea, I have plecos in there too so maybe I will get some wood for them, I don't want to use the wood from my other tank unless you all think it's ok (treating tabk for ich, looks clear but not sure yet)?
I moved mine near the filter return to blow off some stuff & vac lightly. My baby shrimp love it so it's worth some bother. I also trim it so the strands are shorter, for a while anyway.
Ours is tied to driftwood. There's only a betta and some harle's in the tank tho so there's really not much debris floating around to begin with tho.
