big freakin tank.

Sharks with fricking laser beams on their heads!!!

Seriously though, I have no idea. Probably a good number of angels, discus and a bunch of smaller schooling fish.

My biggest is 220. I'm happy with that pretty much. I wouldn't mind having one big enough for a few pbass, gar, arowana, and maybe a few others.

pirahna!!

P. Altum and wild Discus(Heckels)

Money is no object? A giant 50,000+ gallon reef tank that I could snorkle in. =) Basically I would own my own aquarium, and charge a $5 admission fee and retire.

I'd have everything in there from blue chromis to green sea turtles to moray eels.

hmm, seems like im the only one here who likes a paludarium setup. i would set the tank half water half land, kind of like at the pond's edge. have both sides heavily planted, big school of fish, probably some kind of tetra in the water side. then i'll have some sort of amphibians on the land side. either way, it will be all natural themes =)
I completely agree. I love the idea of both fish, amphibians and plants in the same tank. just make sure they wont eat eachother! Ah, well, its not like you wouldn't have enough space to divide the tank!

Just to add to that, chuck in some turtles, too. And as for fish, how 'bout several schools of tetras, and if it were up to me, a HUGE school of cory cats, especialy albino!

It would not be nearly large enough for a nurse shark. You could keep one of the smaller shark species I think. Most people seem to underestimate what size tank sharks need. Most sharks needs thousands of gallons of water.

I would be keeping a community of arowanas and plecos. If the laws changed and I magically got rich, I'd like to include a pair of Asian aros.
I guess if I'm getting a 500 gal tank I am getting rich in this scenario....so I'll include Asian aros.:grinyes:. I'm be assuming that arowanas like to be kept in a group for a pecking order and that Aussie aros would be less aggressive in a tank this size.

Stocking list:
Two silver arowanas
Two Asian arowanas ( if not Asians, then two Jardinis)
Two lei arowanas
Three sailfin plecos
Six plecos of yet undetermined species.
