55 gallon fish suggestions + compatibility

anywho, i was really favoring the zebra loach until i read that they can be somewhat aggressive towards other tankmates such as corydoras so theyre out of the picture. the rest seem like pretty good choices, but ill have to consider the fact that the LFS's around here only bring in common FW fish like corys, angels, tetras etc, so ill probably have to special order them through the stores dealers myself.
Where did you get this information? Zebra loaches hardly level the skunk loaches' nasty temperament. They should be fine with your cories. Keep loaches singly and you will see how nasty most get. Keep them in group and they will forever coexist happily with other inhabitants.;)

I like khuli loaches, I find that they get along with everything in my 55gal set up. I dont seen them all too often though :(
I really love rams, they have alot of personality, but if you cant get them locally I wouldnt reccomend ordering them, they are a rather fragile fish, IMO.

thanks :grinyes:. im pretty sure i got it on wiki and another site. and yes, the skunks are nasty. i called my cousin up for some info and he said that they fight, even killed some of his pandas and albinos after a week of having them. apparetnly the fish store said it was okay to put them with peaceful tempermented fish in a community tank :screwy:

im really considering rams myself if only the LFS here has them in stock. ive seen them a couple of times though. they are usually in seperate tanks and not paired up.
