What size tank and how big is the Angel?

um a lil bigger than silver dollar.

55g my angel recently died so he is getting replaced.

no i meant the money not the fish.

lol!

I don't think she has any silver dollar fish in her tank right now, she was just using the currency coin as a reference to show the size of the angelfish she wants to buy. Austin, drip acclimation is (I think) the best way to accllimate any fish to an aquarium. Take airline tubing and create a couple knots in it closer to one end of it. On the other end with no knots is the end of the tube that will go into your aquarium. You can start a siphon on the tube end w/ knots by gently sucking air through it and you'll start to see the water from the aquarium coming down through the tube. Quickly put the knotted end over the bucket the fish is in. You'll want the water from your aquarium to drip at about one drop per second in the angelfish's bucket. You can adjust water flow by tightening or loosening the knots. Drip-acclimate for about 30-45 minutes. The large angelfish may be okay in your 55, but you didn't mention what other fish are in that tank already. Adult angels can eat any small tetras that are only an inch in size, so keep that in mind. List the other fish in the 55 and we can all give you better advice.
