ignore the buffers/equilibrium

Prime is a water conditioner (would use it instead of aquasafe/stresscoat), it gives a bigger bang per ml. So you use less and save more $$$.

And water changes, I do 30-40% wc weekly. 5% is definitely not enough

Got it - follow the chart except ignore day 7 and change 30 - 40% once a week!

If it clouds up after that, the whole **** thing is coming your way (do I have your address?)!!

Not sure my schedule was the cause of the cloud, but it will be a little better schedule to be on ...

Is it okay to cross Pfertz and Flourish? Use together?

BTW - the Co2 hose got ripped off the diffuser (boy do I have that donkey anchored to the side of the tank now) today during the WC. I just noticed and fixed it about 15 minutes ago. There's so much to remember (lol).

It's crystal clear again - BTW - I just think (unless anybody else has a theory) that it has to be a combination of the ferts causing the cloud ... curious it only does it on WC.

Doubt its the water change since if the tank is mature then a 20-50% wc shouldnt hurt it and force it to go into a cycle again..

So your co2 was not being fully diffused?
Doubt that was the cause for the cloudiness.

Any chance you are looking without your glasses on? If I don't wear mine everything looks cloudy.

Try a test of your water by putting some in a clear glass for 24 hours and see if there is any difference. I take it that you are on public water, any chance maybe the H2O Company did something?
You might try skipping one week on wc or ferts and see if there is an impact when you continue on your schedule.
