In my world
Hey there! I have found a wonderful alternative to driftwood for my tanks. Yes, I do still have some driftwood as I think it is beautiful but petrified wood can go in your tank and sink from day 1. No soaking, no bleaching, etc.

Here are a few pics of it in my tanks....

And here are the extras that I have for sale... each piece is $2/pound.

Also open for trades of similar value. Interested in plants, red cherries, yellow and orange shrimp. Just LMK what you have to offer!

Please let me know what you think. Pm and post here in case I don't see it. Shipping is via USPS Priority and is generally between $12-15 depending on the size. If shipping quote is over by more than $1 I will refund you the difference. Thanks for looking and have a great day!!!

Those are very nice. It would be helpful to know what each piece weighs or the cost of each piece rather than just the price per pound. Also, where are you located in case we'd like to do a pikcup.

Thank you for your post NickD. I can't seem to find the edit button so I will post the weights and prices here in order of the pics above.

Piece 1-- 8 pounds $16
Piece 2-- 17.5 pounds $35
Piece 3-- 16.5 pounds $33
Piece 4--18 pounds $36
Piece 5--20 pounds $40
Piece 6--7.5 pounds $15
Piece 7--10 pounds $20
Piece 8-- 16.5 pounds $33

I am in Caldwell, Idaho.

Thanks again for the tip NickD

How does this stuff break? Would I be able to smash the bigger ones into smaller pieces? I've never dealt with petrified wood before so I have no idea where you are price wise.

Honestly, I have never tried to break it but I don't think that it would break that easily. I do have some little pieces, let me know what sizes you are looking for.

you're high pricewise...LFS sells this for $3/pound, which is pretty much what you're selling it for after shipping. I've even seen it $2 or less in stores.

Especially since you collected it yourself and have a low investment, I'd drop the price to $1-$1.50/pound or $2 pound shipped.

Good luck!

Wow, your LFS must have more than we do around here, I have never seen it in any LFS here. Thanks for your input!
