Info on Tiger Shovelnose?

I seen a couple of these guys at my LFS yesterday. Anyone have experience with them? Size, temperament, tankmates. Anything that you can think of basically. Here's a pic. It's not the best quality it's off my phone.... They also had a cross between a tiger shovelnose/redtail cat which looks pretty slick too.

Well that sucks LOL!!!! It is very cool looking though.
 
Tank busters. Get about 5' wild. I havn't seen one in an aquarium or pond larger then 3' though. They eat everything and anything. Could be hard to get off feeders.
 
Red....we had a TSN - about 3' or so...and he was a voracious predator. We could feed him all the beef heart he could eat, he'd have a bellyful and a mouthful, and STILL go after the other fish. He ate 3 full grown tinfoils, and the final straw was a beautiful blue and white OB peacock we just bought for $30...he went into the tank, down six feet, and GULP! TSN lunch. It took me about 6 months of searching to find a home for him - we ended up taking him about 6 hours north to the West Edmonton Mall to their display. He was a very pretty looking fish, temperament of a jerk....can't say that I miss him. Nobody else does either, tank is calm since he left.

I would advise to stay away....unless you purposfully WANT a head ache! LOL
