Here's why they should ban chainlink fences.

ok so every so often a chainlink fence might kill some fish they should ban them? thats not rational...... i cant tell if the op was trying to be funny or what.

I'm pretty sure he was just joking man..

Ya dont wanna get the fence stretchers union on yer butt... knowwhuttimean Vern?

I don't know guys, it doesn't looked photoshoped to me. I will agree that the fish on the left looks rather goofy looking. Seems the fence worked like a "gill net"!

Not ban them everywhere, but at least regulate their usage...

Maybe design some sort of safety guards that could be attached to the fence, that would prevent this sort of horror from ever happening again. Make it mandatory for those with chainlink fences living in areas prone to flooding.

IMO, flooding is horrible no matter how you look at it. This is just an example of the havocks it puts on the enviroment, other examples include coffins rising from the ground, propane tanks detaching and floating whereever they please, petroleum products from automatives washing into the water from vehicles that are submerged. The list really is endless. Just another one of those things that have to be dealt with in times of crisis.

I was just kidding about the Fishy Fence Guard (TM), but yes, I agree that flooding is horrible. Just to clarify, as this thread is taking a turn for the serious, I am making light of a silly fish picture...not the aftermath of Hurricane Ike.
