as you all know I've started a. EBJD project and when they all start to breed I plan on selling some of the better looking blue genes to anyone looking to start there own project. of course I dont have any blue genes yet but I will soon. and I would like to make a list or members looking to buy. ( so I can get an idea as to how many I can feed to my jags) it will be local pick up only just list your name below and how many you would like. I'll post more info on what familys can breed with each other and what ones can't

I would like to breed mine but just don't have the room

hats a lovely female it looks like. tell me if you want one

That is a beautiful Blue Dempsey. How big is it? Normally alot of blue on the lower gill plate indicates a female Dempsey, however, in EBJDs the coloration is not a sexual indicator.

thats an EBJD. I thought it was a blue gene

I may be wrong, but notice that the ONLY color on it is blue. There are none of the gold or green metallic spangles normally seen on a regular JD. If you look through pics of adult EBJDs alot of them have the dark background color with the blue markings instead of being all blue.

I forgot to put in my last post that that is a very nice JD dhgyello04!

Hey thanks for the kind words... since I have been feeding him nightcrawlers, he has been more active and will come within 1.5" to 2" of my fingers when feeding him.

Well right know he is about 6.5" or so

Thank you very much.

As a matter of fact, this very fish is in the first response to the post you made over a ATD. Here's the link.:)

Yes this is my fish and yes I did post this on ATD. I was looking for feedback on my fish and didn't know too much about him.

Well I just bought him at a LFS in Modesto, CA for 35.00 when he was about 1.5", just thought he was really cool looking fish. I went there the other day and there was 2 more about 1.5" that they have just gotten in... I don't know if it is in the same blood line but they look very simular to the one I bought.
