well all i have right now growing out is 3 texas a male convict and a female JD in a 29 bigest being the male convict at 3 inches so i have a ways to go.
in the 10 gallon i have is a breeding pair of pik convicts which havent laid any eggs yet but hoply soon will.

I hope you know the 10g is too small for a pair of Convicts. What is the update? Did you upgrade,what are you planning?

not to be rude but what is the point of this post??? if your asking a question, please state the question. the 10 gallon is over crowded along with the 29 gallon your growing out 3 Texas, a male convict and a jack Dempsey in a 29gallon tank your fish are going to hit 4in max and stop growing because you have stunted there growth, or your convict will get aggressive and kill the Texas and maybe the jack dempsey

For sure I agree. My Convict kills others in the tank he even took out his female partner.
