whats wrong with my fish....

this morning i found my clown flopping around in the back of my bio cube where the bio balls are... he had water flowing on him but he has been mad all day ... i also noticed my hermit crab is missing a claw...my puffer that is usually very mellow is freaking out and keeps flinging up and hitting the top of my tank... i have no idea what is going on... i have had the same base rock for about 6 months ... i took a small piece and let it hang out in my other tank for a bit to seed it.. so im not sure if something is spooking them or what ... it was pretty freaky... i have kept the lights off to see if they will calm down.... any suggestions????
 
Have you checked your water parameters?
 
my ammonia was zero, NO2 zero, NO3 zero, ph 7.8 , and salt is at 1.024
 
do they make guards for them or is it a DIY type of thing???
 
update on my fishys..... i kept the light off most of the day and they seem to have calmed down ... i thought about something that might have triggered this whole thing... yesterday i took the top off and cleaned the clear cover on the underside that covers the lights... today i noticed they kept looking up ... so im wondering if they are seeing their reflection and freaking out. im thinkin they dont like change lol .. so hopefully when i wake up in the morning they will have stayed put thru the night... fingers crossed ....
 
just some ro water and a cloth i only use on my aquarium... just really wiped it off cuz of the salt build up on it.
 
well my valentini puffer is still mad at me... i use to be able to feed him by hand and now he so ticked at me... it sucks.. he was my lil buddy... he apparently hold grudges lol... he only acts this way toward me.. my girls walk up to the tank and he is normal...hope he will get over it...
