Hardscape tip.
When setting up your hardscape you need to keep in mind how big your plants will be when they mature, particularly the taller plants in back. It's difficult when first getting into planted tanks to visualize this and often times the hardscape is set too far back in the tank. Then as the plants grow in the hardscape gets consumed by the overgrowth. So set your rocks and wood a bit closer to the front of the tank and let those taller plants in the back have their space. I'm sure you'll be glad you did.
