I had to go home to get my camera!

I stopped by my LFS where a friend of mine works tonight. She takes in fish that need to be rehomed or for owners that are having problems. OMG! When I saw these goldies in the tanks I had to go home and get my camera to share. And my BF says I feed MY pond fish too much.

Haha, it's easy to tell a pond fish that's been overfed! They look otherwise healthy, though.
I see that they're at a Petco- that's good! Now any mom that wants to get a goldfish bowl for their kid can see how large goldfish will get. :thumbsup:

Was your friend told by the former owners why they were given up? Seems like a lot of time and effort went into growing these fish just to turn around and say, "Eh, I don't like 'em anymore."

The owner had a leak in his pond that was pretty major. He is planning on going back and getting them when his pond is repaired if they haven't been adopted. He obviously loves his fishies. A little too much in my opinion, LOL, but loves them none the less.
