My mom have a freshwater 29 gallon, there no more fish in there and it is just sitting there. I m planing to start a saltwater tank.
So i need help on what should I buy and get for the tank.

What kind of fish will fit fine in a saltwater tank. I know normally for saltwater it is better to start with a 55 gallon.

29G seems to be a standard for a beginner tank or a tank for somebody who doesn't want to go too big. I have seen very many amazing 29G tanks and you can house a few fish in them. Look around this forum for inspiration and ideas of what you can stock.

I started with a 10gallon Nano. It was alot of work but it has been soooooo much fun to watch it grow.

Tells us more about your tank. What filters do you have? What lighting? What heater? What is your plan on LR and how much?

That info will help us give you stocking ideas.

I currently have the tank running the cycle, i got a power head, i m getting a new heater, but which brand is the best? i have a normal filters, I currently have three freshwater tank. T-5 lighting. The cost I don't really mind. and i really like Zoanthids & Polyps they look like flower in the sea. I m still not sure what type of fish i want yet. I been having freshwater angelfish for long time.

Visitherm Stealth is the best heater out there IMO.

So T5's with individual reflectors should be fine for Zoos and shrooms.

how long do i let the tank cycle before i add anything?

currently i m using some old live rock that has dry out, should get some new one? since i know that my old live rock are dead.
